Advanced MAINS Test Series 2015

UPSC Prelims Over !

Our members seem to have done well & majority are expecting 100+

Our views:

Less than 90 : on the edge - but still prepare for MAINS - since UPSC is the final aim & preparation does not end here, just begins !

90 - 100 : In the game - prepare for MAINS

100 - 110 : Very Much in the game - prepare for MAINS

110 + : PLs take rest for 1 week & come back with a BANG - unless some calamity happens - you are writing MAINS 2015

BTW, it is funny at the same time an honour to predict a question verbatim in Pre 2015:

Who / which organisation has been selected for the Gandhi Peace Prize for 2014?
a.        ICHR                b ISRO               c H L Dattu             d None of these

This was our Qs 8 of the 26th July CA + Culture II paper !

Moreover, we presume that our classroom discussions on Indian

Economy hit the target well - many questions on Indian Economy

were concept based and on the issues specifically discussed in the

class

And we may also claim that the advice tendered over & over again -

"To focus on the basics: Polity, History, Geography, Economy,

Ecology & Contemporary Events" - didn't backfire

Many questions this time on Polity + INM - so whosoever felt that

the days of HIST are gone in Prelims - must have had to eat their

words !

===================================================
