Dear All,
A sigh of relief finally !!
GoI has arrived at a conclusion after over a month long chaos on the fate of GS II towards Prelims.
The exam would be held as per schedule - on 24th August.
Let's not opine now - whether the decision was worthy or could be improved or .......because such scholarly debates may raise the TRP of TV shows but is of hardly any use to the aspirants.
And we too believe that the aspirants should focus and concentrate on "the" day.
However, we are not reticent to admit that we feel validated & vindicated - as no substantial change has been incorporated - and our original suggestion to the aspirants to stay calm and carry on with their preparations - has stood the test of time.
Now at the final hour, we have further suggestions:
1. Let's forget about the so-called changes in GS II or CSAT !!
Only 9-10 Comprehension questions whose translation is not provided have been affected - that is - marks won't be counted for merit determination - but some minimum qualifying criteria would hopefully be attached.
Say, out of 25 marks or so, may be 7.5 marks need to be scored !! However, that's not explicitly clear - so, why bang our heads for it ??
Let's keep in mind that NOTHING substantial has changed and we have to attempt 80 or so questions in GS II and make the maximum.
GS I - by God's grace, remains untouched !!
2. So, how does our strategy change?? It remains as is & as was.....
3. Please REVISE & ONLY REVISE
4. Don't stretch - don't study anything extravagant.
5. Solve 2 - 3 Full Length questions papers.
6. Sleep Well !! Eat healthy....and stay fit to give the best on 24th
With loads of wishes .............
